Fourth of July Parade

The weather cleared out and we had sunny blue skies (for the most part) for our parade.
The Wyman's got to the parade first and staked out this sweet spot in front of the Chevy dealership.
Ayden in her cute little sun dress which I guess she picked out this morning!
The boys were so excited for the parade to start. They kept peering down the street and giving us updates of what they saw.
The highlights of the parade (according to Grant and Tate) were the fire engines and...
TRACTORS!!!!!!!!!
All in all it was a bummer of a parade but the kids still got some candy so they were happy!
We wrapped up July 4th with the Oak Harbor Fireworks Display which Grant LOVED! It was a relatively warm evening and we sat in perfect view of the full display. (No I was not drinking in this picture I was just starting to blink!)
The rest of the weekend was busy too. We ended up getting 6 tons of hay delivered Saturday and then got to go to Jack's Disco themed third Birthday Party which was a blast! Sunday was all about training. Amber and I biked into the gym and then lifted weights. The husbands met us at the gym with the kids whom we took home (after a stop at the park) while James and Andy went swimming and then ran home. Whew makes me tired just writing about it.

Monday was more training with an open water swim down in Goss Lake then a little shopping at the Star Store in Langley to pick out our jersey's for this weekends race in Seattle. It really was a great weekend. Fun to just hang around home too.
